How it all began…
Erin Jane Designs was launched in the Spring of 2006 from my home studio.  Go back with me...it's winter of 2006...I had been experimenting with jewelry for a few years and had been day-dreaming about quitting my job to start my own jewelry design company for the last few months.   During a nice, long, much-needed vacation in Maui, I met a gal in a cute little shop near the beach.  I simply asked her how her day was and she replied, "Well, I'm sitting in tropical paradise making and selling my jewelry...I'm great."  Instantly, I hated her.  Why didn't she just say "Fine"?  Well, although irritated and insanely envious, it turned out to be a real eye opener for me.  Why can't that be me?  Why not try and do what I love most for a living? (that would be making gorgeous jewelry).  So, the day I got back from my vacation, I quit.  Just like that.  Risky?  Yes.  Worth it?  Ummm...yes!

I seek out unique color combinations, playing with stones and textures that create a truly unique final piece. I use all semi-precious and precious stones and metals to make my jewelry – quality materials are just as important as the design. I love creating something that is bold, colorful, unique, feminine, fresh and makes a woman smile when she puts it on. Jewelry shouldn’t be fussy like clothing. You should put it on and feel beautiful, never self-conscious. It’s so fun to play with jewelry, change your identity by being sassy one moment and a demure princess the next. Why not?!

It’s funny how a piece of kick-ass jewelry can make a woman feel and therefore look completely different…confident, happy and sexy. I love to see that transformation on a woman’s face when she puts on a piece of my jewelry. That’s why I do this!

Erin Jane Staples grew up in Duluth, Minnesota and slowly moved further west in her early 20’s until she finally landed in Seattle in 2001 after graduating from Colorado State University with a BA in Business.  She currently lives in Seattle with her husband and old, smelly dog.

All of the pieces in the Erin Jane Designs jewelry collection are hand-made with natural, semi-precious stones and precious metals. Since the gemstones are natural, each stone may vary slightly in color, size, and texture. Please also note that some materials used in the jewelry are occasionally limited so quantities of some of the designs may be limited.  One of a kind pieces are noted.

Shipping
Most items are made to order and require 5 to 7 business days for processing. We do, however, have some items in stock. If so, orders placed by 3pm PST will be shipped on the following business day, Monday-Friday.  Orders received after 3pm PST will be shipped in two business days. Upon receiving your order we’ll email you with the status of your purchase and when to expect delivery. As always, contact us if you have the need for rush delivery. We’re here to help.

Returns/Exchange Policy
Returns are accepted for refund (less shipping fees) provided the request is received within 14 business days and the item is in the same condition as when it was sent, including all tags and/or labels. Please email or call us as soon as possible with any questions regarding your order. Exchanges can be made within 30 business days, provided item is in the same condition as when it was sent, again, including all tags/labels and boxes. Additional shipping charges will apply.

Repairs
Repairs will be made free of charge for up to 6 months after purchase. Please email or call before mailing in your piece.
